Founded in 1982 as a cottage industry, Bühler Electricité SA grew into an SME in just two or three years. Buoyed by the dynamism of the construction industry, the company soon had around fifty employees and apprentices. Aware of the cyclical nature of this dynamic, the company quickly diversified into industrial electricity and gradually organized itself into four sectors that have consolidated over the years: domestic electrical installations, industrial electrical installations, medium-voltage and high-power power supply installations, and the manufacture of electrical switchboards.

In 1988, the company extended its services to include electrotechnical planning, setting up its own engineering office as an independent company: Bühler Engineering SA. The companies quickly established a solid reputation for the excellence of their services and the quality of the work they carried out.

From 1996 to 2003, the company progressively built its manufacturing workshops in three stages; the administrative and engineering offices were completed in 2003.

Our quality policy has been a constant concern in the development of our activities. All the departments of Bühler Electricité SA and Bühler Engineering SA comply with international standards ISO 9001/2015, 14001/2015 and 45001/2018. BEM has always prioritized qualitative growth over quantitative growth, and our aim is to remain in this human-scale niche, which has enabled us to work with our customers on achievements that are often exceptional.
