History Under the name H. Sollberger AG, elektrische Anlagen, Sissach, the company was founded on February 14, 1952 by Hans Sollberger, Spiez, and Traugott Sutter, Sissach, and entered in the Commercial Register of the Canton of Baselland.

After successfully passing the master craftsman's examination and working for two years as chief fitter in the electrical installation department of Elektra Baselland in Liestal, Erwin Brönnimann joined the company as a licensee and managing director in the spring of 1959.

The takeover of the business, as provided for in the employment contract, was completed in 1960 and at the same time the company name was changed to E. Brönnimann AG.

In the same year, the store was opened in Rössligasse in Gelterkinden, which was managed and supervised by Janine Brönnimann until March 2000.

In the sense of a continuous continuation of the company, the management was handed over to the young professionals Pascal Benz, federally certified electrician, and Martin Mühry on January 1, 2000.

SecuriCasa® - the new security concept. Security for private and business Security concerns everyone. In Switzerland, there are 230 burglaries every 6 minutes or every day. In addition to the stolen cash and material assets, the damage to the house and furnishings accounts for a not to be underestimated part of the damage. Finally, the psychological strain on those affected cannot be measured in francs. Periodic controls We are an independent control body, which offers its services for plant safety.

The inspection of the electrical installations serves the safety. This means the protection of persons and property. Such plant checks are carried out periodically during and after commissioning. Depending on the load of the electrical installation, there are different types of checks. For example, a family house or an apartment building is checked every twenty years after commissioning. These inspections are legally based on the Electricity Act and the Low Voltage Installation Ordinance. There are different types of inspections:

• Construction inspection,** this is carried out by the electrician during the execution of the work.
• Acceptance inspection, this is carried out by the electrician after the installation work has been completed, before the system is put into operation. He prepares the safety certificate and the measurement and test report, which he hands over to the owner. If the system has an inspection cycle of less than twenty years, the owner must also call in an independent inspection body, which also prepares a measurement and inspection report and signs the safety certificate.
• Periodic inspections ** The owner receives a request from the grid operator to provide proof of safety. He commissions an independent inspection body to inspect the electrical installation.
• Inspection in case of change of ownership, if a residential property is sold or bought, it is recommended to have the electrical installation checked. Damages and benefits are transferred to the new owner. The law requires that if more than five years have passed since the last inspection, the installation that changes ownership must be completely inspected. For example, when buying a car, it is a matter of course that a vehicle is bought only from MFK.
