Repower is an internationally active Swiss energy company. The Group is active along the entire value chain: electricity production, trading, distribution and sales, and also in the innovative "new tech business". It is also active in the gas business in Italy and Germany. Repower employs around 700 people.

Repower in Switzerland Repower Switzerland is responsible for Repower's entire operating business in Switzerland. The regional focus is on southeastern Switzerland. Thanks to its local roots, Repower knows its customers' needs particularly well. Repower Switzerland deals with the following main areas of activity:

Production

Repower produces electricity in its own power plants in Graubünden. The main regions are Puschlav, Prättigau and Surselva. A broad portfolio of projects will serve to significantly expand the company's own production over the next few years. Repower also owns a merchant line, a cross-border power line that increases north-south transport capacities.

Trading

Electricity production and consumption have strong regional and seasonal fluctuations. In addition, the very limited storage capacity and the growing feed-in of renewable energy from solar and wind sources lead to strong power flows throughout the European power grid. This is where we use our expertise for cross-border energy trading. With trading units in Poschiavo (CH), Milan (I) and Prague (CZ), Repower is active in most European countries - in bilateral trading, on the exchanges and via brokers.

Distribution

Reliable electricity supply to customers relies on high-performance grids and connections. Repower offers alIn southeastern Switzerland, Repower directly or indirectly supplies around 85,000 customers with electricity. These include both households and large customers. This makes the company the leading supplier in the region.

Green electricity

Repower is one of the pioneers in Switzerland in the field of green electricity. The company developed its PUREPOWERgraubünden product back in 2000. This is still sold today as Purepower to customers in the home region and via certificates throughout Switzerland, including to companies.
