The independent public-law institution Technische Betriebe Glarus Süd combines the former electricity supply companies EW Linthal, EV Luchsingen, EW Schwanden, EV Engi, EV Matt and EW Elm as of 1. 1. 2011 and thus covers the energy requirements in the new municipality of Glarus Süd.
